What to play in 2021
06/07/20212020 promises to be a year of great changes and, with the new generation just around the corner with Xbox Series X and PS5, it seems only normal that we have to hang on to a few releases that the industry has been delaying for months. But beware, that does not mean that a good handful of titles are not on the way for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
Here are the best games of 2020 so far and still to come:
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
A deserted island, a good handful of anthropomorphic friends and the always difficult task of paying a mortgage come together in ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’, the new installment of the relaxing and addictive Nintendo saga. Since its launch it has already proven to be a sensation on the Internet.

Doom Eternal
The return of the legendary id Software franchise grows with ‘Doom Eternal’ to follow in the wake of the original sequel. Hell abandons Mars to wreak havoc on Earth, and our role will be to slay demons by delivering as much brutality as possible. It has been a very well received title on the streaming platforms.

Half-Life: Alyx
‘Half-Life: Alyx’ is not the third part of the Half-Life main story, but no one can deny that Valve’s new title is amazing. An action game that aims to take virtual reality to a new level. VR broadcasts have packed Twitch since its launch.

Resident Evil 3 Remake
After the fantastic results of ‘Resident Evil 2 Remake’ it was a matter of time that the third part of the Capcom franchise also had its ration of improvements. Nemesis’ return with ‘Resident Evil 3 Remake’ already seems to be one of the events of the year. It has retained RE2’s wins and added aspects to gameplay that make it more dynamic. Capcom is undoubtedly on a streak.

Final Fantasy VII Remake
‘Final Fantasy VII: Remake’ promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year. The PSX classic returns with refreshed graphics, expanded storyline, and the ability to take turns fighting or with an updated combat system.

The Last of Us Part II
One of the games that has all the numbers to leave us shaking is the expected return of one of the most acclaimed sagas in the video game world. ‘The Last of Us Part II’ returns with the story of Joel and Ellie with a Naughty Dog that has been a long time without making us to pick up our jaws from the ground. Without a doubt, this sequel aims to become the most important game of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077
After a notable delay, ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ aims to become another of the great jewels of 2020. A major game that comes with great potential and invites us to dream of a dystopian future with Keanu Reeves by our side. A role-playing shooter that promises to take the last breath of the current generation to the top.
